Peggy Lindsey was born in Olathe Colorado in 1970. She graduated from high school in Olathe but was already in Ouray working in the summers. She and her husband moved to Ouray in March 1995 into their 1st home built by themselves. Peggy waited tables and bar tended for over 10 years before learning massage therapy. She worked at Healing Touch Therapies at the Hot Springs Pool for over 7 years before studying for her real estate exam. She passed the 1st time and started selling real estate and doing property management for John Lesnefsky Real Estate in 2004. John Lesnefsky, J Gary Dunn and Peggy made up the team until 2009 when John semi-retired and J Gary and Peggy took over the business calling it Dunn and Lindsey Real Estate. In 2012 J Gary Dunn semi-retired and the office became Peggy’s and she changed the name to Lindsey & Co. Real Estate, Inc. In 2017 she again changed the name to Ouray Real Estate Corporation as it remains today. The office has been in the same location since 1971 just with different names.

Peggy has two children, Kayla Karsh and Daniel Tomaske. They each have two children and those four grand babies are the apples of Peggy’s eyes. Peggy has continuously lived in Ouray since 1995 and plans to be a resident for many years to come. Through the years she has seen the highs and lows of the market. She has been here long enough to have a firm grip on the market and will strive to make sure you are happy with your purchase. This office has seen it’s share of happy buyers and sellers. Kayla Karsh was born in Montrose, Colorado and moved to Ouray, Colorado when she was three years old. She grew up with her brother running around the mountains, swimming in the Ouray Hot Springs, and going to school in Ouray. After moving to the east coast briefly after high school, she quickly came back to the mountains. Kayla married her husband, Kevin in 2010 and together they have two boys. They enjoy hiking, skiing, camping and traveling as a family. Kayla decided to pursue a career in real estate and became a Realtor® obtaining her broker license in March of 2019. She has a wealth of knowledge about the area and is excited to help others obtain their goals of owning their own piece of property in our beautiful area!
